Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 can (14 ounce can) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  • Place chicken in slow cooker. Sprinkle with flour, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Pour milk over chicken.
  • Add tomatoes and cheese; stir well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove chicken from slow cooker; shred using two forks.
  • Return shredded chicken to slow cooker; stir well.
