Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds beef brisket
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 to 10 wooden skewers soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  • In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin and black pepper. Brush the brisket with the spice mixture.
  • Grill the brisket for 8 to 10 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
  • Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and olive oil until well combined.
  • Skewer the brisket strips and serve with the ranch dressing.
