Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 quart sweet tea unsweetened

Instructions

  • Bring the sugar, water, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom to a boil in a small pot.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Pour sweet tea into tall glasses. Serve cold.
