Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs beaten
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Valentine's Day mini sprinkles or other colorful sprinkles
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • In the same bowl, stir together salt and butter until well mixed.
  • With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat sugar and eggs for about 3 minutes or until light and fluffy.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  • Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
  • Spoon batter evenly into the prepared muffin tin.
  • Sprinkle mini sprinkles over the batter.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan for 5 minutes before removing.
